Follow Up Cyprus

Follow Up Cyprus

As part of the follow-up activities of the Erasmus+ project SCRATCH-PRO: Sustainable Business Matters, participants in Cyprus actively engaged in spreading the knowledge and tools acquired during the training course held from 17 to 25 May 2025. The first dissemination activity took place on Sunday, June 1st, during the PEHELI4ALL Youth Exchange in Cyprus, where participants introduced the core concepts of sustainable entrepreneurship and led an engaging session on calculating individual carbon footprints. A second dissemination event is scheduled for July 5th, 2025, at the Multicultural Center in Pissouri, offering the wider community an opportunity to learn about sustainable business practices and experience interactive tools and insights from the SCRATCH-PRO journey.

First Follow-Up Activity

On Sunday, June 1st, participants from the project SCRATCH-PRO took the opportunity to disseminate their project in a youth exchange called PEHELI4ALL. During the activity dedicated entirely to Erasmus+ Opportunities, which led to the discussion of the importance of dissemination, participants took the opportunity to listen to all the knowledge the Cypriot participants learned in the SCRATCH-PRO training course, which originally took place between the dates of 17 and 25 of May 2025.
The audience not only learned all about sustainable business, but they also got to test out calculating their own carbon footprint in units of earth destroyed if they keep living the way they do.

2nd Follow-Up Activity

Evaluation from Cypriot Participants

Marina Daniil

In May, I had the opportunity to participate in a training course on business sustainability. During the project, we learned many valuable things about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), budget management, marketing tools, and how to create a Business Model Canvas. All participants came up with brilliant business ideas, with our main goal being sustainability. Not only did we gain knowledge, but we also had fun thanks to the amazing trips organized by Aceplia! We thoroughly enjoyed the accommodation and the delicious food—it was truly amazing. I'm leaving this project filled with knowledge, love, and lasting friendships.

Participating in the SCRATCH-PRO project gave me a deeper understanding of what sustainability truly means in business. Through interactive workshops and open discussions, I discovered how youth can innovate and make a real impact. Sharing this knowledge later during the PEHELI4ALL exchange helped me realize the value of peer learning—many participants were eager to calculate their carbon footprints and reflect on their lifestyle choices. It was an empowering experience that I will carry forward into future initiatives.

As a youth worker, I found the SCRATCH-PRO PDA a transformative experience. The methodology combined theory and practice in an inspiring way, pushing us to design sustainable business ideas that are realistic and socially conscious. What stood out most was the way we connected personal responsibility to global impact. During our follow-up session, it was powerful to see other young people actively engage with the tools we introduced. This kind of multiplier effect is exactly what Erasmus+ projects should aim for.

Being part of SCRATCH-PRO allowed me to build both knowledge and confidence in the field of green entrepreneurship. I especially appreciated the hands-on approach: we didn't just learn—we created, discussed, and tested ideas. When I presented these ideas in the follow-up activity, I felt proud to contribute to raising awareness about environmental impact in everyday life. Seeing others reflect on their ecological footprint reminded me that even small changes matter.

The SCRATCH-PRO training was more than just an educational experience—it was a call to action. I gained a new perspective on how youth entrepreneurship can be a vehicle for environmental and social change. Our dissemination session during PEHELI4ALL proved how relevant this topic is to young people from all backgrounds. Watching participants engage with our activities and ask questions showed me that knowledge sharing is one of the most powerful tools for change.
